The first time I stayed at a bed & breakfast was when my wife and I went on our first anniversary vacation weekend. We knew we wanted to continue away, we just were not sure where or may well wanted to do.

Since then my wife and I also been to two other bed & breakfasts, one in Williamsburg, VA and another in upstate New york near Seneca Square. Although the concept 1 bed & breakfast were similar, these folks were different in several different ways. For instance in Vermont at breakfast and dinner (both that were included) we sat at all of our table in the adjoining restaurant. In NY and VA we ate a colossal table with all the other guests. In VA the owners took care of everything, well them and their boys and girls. In NY and VT the owners ran the place but also had help to get rooms ready and continue the place tidy. In VT we had our own outside entrance to your room as in case the room was all of our house. In NY and VA you’d your own bedroom in the same house with another guests.
Regardless of whichever style you choose, if you have not stayed at a bed & breakfast you should. Each one was wonderful and you really felt familiar were part on the owner’s family while you stayed there.
I would recommend first pick a point where you know you would actually like to stay. Do you like the mountains? How about the sun or a tropical island? Once you recognize what you want to do, then look up the bed & breakfasts their areas that have got targeted and start reading up on them. Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other book stores have a wide array of books you can think about without purchasing receive this information. Additionally you can go to try your local library or look for only a bed & breakfast directory online.
